We have two exciting events this week. On Wednesday evening (not Thursday), Allianz will be doing a resume review in Blegen Hall 250 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. This location is tentative; if it is changed, an update will be sent out as soon as possible.
On Friday, we will be heading to St. Paul to visit Securian. I want to reiterate that everyone is encouraged to attend, including freshmen and sophomores. This is the last site visit for this semester and a great opportunity to learn more about the actuarial profession as well as about Securian’s current intern and full-time openings.
The visit will be from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, and we will be taking the light rail together around 11:45am. If you are interested, please register using the following link: Securian Site Visit Registration. Registration will close on Wednesday at 11:59pm.
One last thing: The UMN Actuarial Career Fair is coming up fast on Monday, October 2nd. More information will be sent out later this week once the list of companies is finalized. In the meantime, be sure to register if you plan to attend: UMN Actuarial Career Student Registration.
